So what do we make of yesterdays events.

3 games yesterday, one shock and one surprise.

I am back to hating Frank. I keep reading the articles on how he is a new man. Such a great guy. And how things were just so awful in Chicago. Well Frank, as I have said, one day I will welcome you back. I know you are a HOF'er. You should have won the MVP in 2000, and you are one of the greatest ever to done a White Sox uniform. But Stank, a lot of the shit was of your making. Sure the press sucked and they hammered on you hard. And I know if you were a Cub they would have built you a temple, but you were a White Sox. Frank your actions did not endear you to the people who it mattered most, your teammates. You know the guys who have to play with you. Kenny played with his emotions on his sleeve, but as a GM he is a mild manner guy. But you pushed it Frank, he had enough. You kept pushing it. Were you too blind to see the writing on the wall. Also they needed to get someone who if Paulie left could have played 1B. Something you have not done since Korean War. Frank if your ankle had been healthier maybe they would have kept you, but you played only 108 games in two years. So you can suck it. Also Frank, how many times did you turn your back on the team when it need someone to lead them. So good luck to you in beating the Twins, but you still are a jackass in my book Big Stank.

The A's strike first blood. They got the long ball from The Big Stank and got a good game from Zito, who was not so sharp. He left a lot of pitches up in the strike zone. But most importantly they beat Santana in the dome.

Right now as I type the Twins season depends on a guy name Boof. But they are hanging in there, since the just took Loazia deep to tie it in the 6th.

Damn you Derek Jeter. To which is best summed up by the people over at Slack Lalane,

--We all know Derek Jeter went 5-for-5 last night, banging out two singles, two doubles and a late-inning jack that sealed the deal. You saw that. You'll read that everywhere. I want to focus on the smirk he flashes after reaching safely and calling timeout or heading into the dugout after a homerun. It's semi-new, actually. The smirk itself has always been there, but this brand of smirk is fresh and awesome. This smirk says, "I'm better than you at life, and we both know it.

God I hate you Derek, but I hate it more that you are that good.

The Tigers tired, but came up short. I do not fault Leyland for being aggressive. Sure they ran out of a couple of innings. But this team needs to get pressure on the Yanks early and try to get to their middle men. Sadly, we all know that with the Yankees, if they are ahead, the game become 8 innings, some times 7.

Well looks like the Cardinals gave the Swinging Friars a punch in the mouth.

Dodgers might be catching a break. First Pedro and now El Duque is out. So the Mets march a rookie to the mound. I can only imagine how bat shit crazy the press will be if the Dodgers sink the Maine.
